Louisiana Pico Fish - Long Beach

Fish is always fresh and fried to your liking. Decent sides and staff are really nice. If you know LB, you know the area.

This is my favorite Fish market in Long Beach. I have been eating here for years. Their greens are good AF.

This is my go-to place for take-out fish and chips in north Long Beach. They do it fresh and hot, their sides are really good (not too sweet). They speak clearly, get phone orders right and quote realistic times.Don't go for the atmosphere, this place is a clean little hole in the wall, in a charmless corner mini mall.My favorite order is a jar of fried oysters with 3 tartar sauce and 1 hot sauce.Parking is a bit tight, but I've always found a spot, especially since the 7-11 closed. Also, I usually dash into the Chinese place next door for a couple of extra veggie dishes, since I actually like vegetables.

My go-to spot for fillets of sole and chicken nuggets. I love the fact that the chicken nuggets are from the breast of the chicken and not the kind like McDonald's. Jose the cook has been there for decades and I will always ask him to cook my food. This is the place to grab a bite to eat when in Long Beach.

First off, the food was fantastic! Pretty sparce place but what matters is the food. Ordered cat fish, shrimp, hush puppies and fries. Be prepared to wait as the food is cooked fresh to order. Since this was my first time, we had to wait 15 mins. Next time will definitely order in advance.
