Maru Maki - Long Beach

One of the Best! As soon as I walked in, the amazing aroma hit me, and the food… it was absolutely incredible. The fish was fresh, the cuts were perfect, and the flavors were spot on. I really appreciated the atmosphere as well. The staff at Maru Maki were all very attentive, particularly the young waitress who even made a pair of 'learner' chopsticks for Ms. Pearson right at our table. This is definitely not your typical $3 sushi! Treat yourself and stop by Maru Maki when you're craving some excellent sushi.

This is a fantastic restaurant! My wife and I recently moved from San Diego and have been searching for a new sushi spot to make our own. We've been bringing friends and family along, and it seems we keep running into each other here. The place is incredible, and the owners are friendly and welcoming. We find ourselves going every other week, especially because of the great sushi specials and the all-you-can-drink beer option!

I live in Portland, Oregon, where there are many excellent sushi restaurants, but this one truly stands out. I was pleasantly surprised by the dishes—they were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I will definitely recommend it to my sushi-loving friends so they can come and enjoy some fantastic food.
