Next-kitchen Mediterranean - Long Beach

Raw chicken in my food, new owners, not the same place! Their gyro is a frozen patty and chicken is not cooked through. They need to train their staff, the place is really terrible now, do not recommend going there! See pics.

Food was terrible. The chicken came off a sad stick and tasted bad. The people who worked there were nice though and it’s open late.

This is NOT the same restaurant with the good reviews. it is now an awful mediterranean restaurant look at the recent review pictures to see how bad the food actually is. i made the mistake of giving this place a second shot after a terrible first plate, but they messed up my order both times and left out/substitued items in the most nonsensical way. the rice is dry, oily and actually inedible. don 't go here if you actually like kebab/gyro because what you get will be laughable.

Sampled a falafel wrap, gyros wrap and side of baba ganoush. The falafel wrap needed more of the tahini to combat dryness. The falafel was well cooked. A suggestion is to include a pickled element in the wrap; doesn't need to be pickled turnip, but missing the acid and crunch. Gyros was fine. The baba ganoush was too bitter. You need to cube the eggplant and salt it for an hour before cooking. Squeeze the moisture out and then most bitterness is gone.

Very good prices, amazing food, and wholesome staff. Choose this if your looking for some fire Shwarma. ?
