Taqueria La Mexicana - Long Beach

Best tacos around plus the owner is cool as a they come. The family that runs it is a big part of why I come here. If you haven’t been here, then you’re missing out.

I enjoy the Long Beach Burrito. It's carne asada, french fries, avocado and sour cream. The tacos are pretty good, but I think they used to be a bit better. I remember when they opened, I think it's been almost 15 years now. The tacos were phenomenal. They're still good, but they aren't as good as before. I think things went downhill a bit when they tried to do burgers and Asian food. Thankfully, I think they stopped doing all that, but the quality isn't the same as before.I still like to go here about once a month, but I used to go here almost weekly before.

Carne asada tacos was all I got. So I can say much more about the menu. They were decent tacos.

Love the food from this little place. It is always good and the prices have not gone up for years.
