Angelo's Pizza Deli - Long Island City

I would recommend trying anything other than the pizza at this restaurant. The pizza is never fresh, and those who claim otherwise likely order delivery and have never dined in. The crust is gummy and not crispy. I only eat here when I have no other options, as the only alternative nearby is Dunkin' Donuts, or I could dine at a pub across the street.

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch. Be prepared to search for parking.

I am unsure how to rate a convenience store, but I found that it was well-stocked.

Angelo's Pizza and deli is a hidden gem in the middle of a densely industrial area. The pizza is tasty but the real surprise is the hot meal bar. In this tiny little space , some tasty food is prepared. The menu changes daily but there is usually at least one chicken dish,one pork dish and one beef dish offered. They also have the staples of rice beans cooked vegetables. The salads are basic romaine lettuce with fresh peppers cucumbers tomatoes onions and olives. All the food is tasty and fresh. All available for a reasonable price about $10.00. The service is friendly fast.
