Stopped in for a beer and a punt. After placing a bet, the bar staff took their time to come and activate the bet, as it was a large bet and needed confirmation. The bar staff had no idea what she was doing, and after 3 attempts of trying to work her machine, the race had jumped and I was unable to put my bet on. Needless to say, the horse won and I missed out on a significant four figure return. Upon complaining, the staff including the manager just smiled and told me to go elsewhere if I didn’t like it. Rude, arrogant, inconsiderate, incompetent bar staff!

As long as you can get past the fact that this place has zero ambience. Also that it’s in an aged building. Staff are more interested in themselves than there customers. So why 5 star ? The food they serve is out of this world. Massively flavoursome and so reasonable n price. So if your ever in this area and hungry. YOU MUST stop here to eat

We stopped by for Boxing Day lunch and it was a great choice. The menu was smaller but had a good variety. We could have easily fed our whole family with the choices. The staff were great and helpful. We ate outside at the back, with our little dog. The food was great and the breeze was a bonus. We will be back
