Tyler's Gourmet Ice Cream

Great new addition to Longboat Key! I'm really happy to see that the Gareys are behind this flavorful venture.

Today, I visited Tyler's, where they offer around 20 flavors of homemade ice cream. Since they make all their ice cream fresh, the aromas change from week to week. Today, I tried the Tyler's Ice Cream Flight, which consists of three kid-sized servings—plenty of ice cream! The three flavors I chose were Maple Nut and Coconut.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. My chocolate chip cookie dough was fantastic, but my husband tried two pots—sea salt caramel and chocolate and cream. Unfortunately, he found the ice cream had an odd texture, with some parts being more frozen than others. It's a shame!

After dinner at Lazy Lobster. Tyler was the place to go, can't believe how beautiful this place was. The ice super-dude was AMAZING and service with a 'Masked' smile Lol. Awesome flavors and prices and the shop its own great looking.

Cute little place right next to the wonderful Lazy Lobster at Longboat Key. Walked right over after dinner so the kids could have ice cream, they loved it. It's bigger and cuter inside than what it looks on the outside. We will visit it again when we return..
