Edward J Valentine's - Longford

I stopped by this pub on the main street in Longford for a quick break on my way back to Dublin. There were a few men at the bar reading newspapers and doing crosswords. A very friendly young woman took our order for tea and some food. Unfortunately, since we were driving, we had to skip the Guinness, but it looked delicious! The interior of the pub has a traditional feel, and the back section is designed like an old cottage, complete with cozy armchairs by the fireplace. We were enchanted by the cottage and all the antiques and memorabilia on the walls. I wished I could have stayed longer. A lovely pub that I would like to visit for a longer period in the future.
