Taco Palace - Longmont

Went for the first time last night. Was excited to try and since it is fast food I assumed closer to fast food prices. I was really wrong. It was really expensive. $50 for 6 tacos and 2 quesadillas.I asked for a Carne Asada quesadilla with nothing but meat and cheese. Get home (30 mins away) to just meat, no cheese. Who does that?! And I paid $10 for meat inside a giant tortilla. Ridiculous. The salsa bar is very nice. I enjoyed that.Service wasn 't friendly. Seemed like everyone who came in was a bother to the person working. Will not be back.Check out La Familia down the street. Better prices and way better service.

Placed a pick up order at 6:45 and when I got there at 6:45 they hadn't even started on the order yet. The girl who came to the counter after I stood there for about 5 minutes looked at me puzzled. I told her that I had a pick up order for Dave and she came back about 10 minutes later with a pickup order for Nate. She looked at me confused when I said nope, my name is Dave. When I finally got my food, it was missing a side order of rice and my cream-filled churros. Again, she looked very frustrated when I asked her if I could get my complete order. The food was pretty good except for the churros, which were mismatched and overcooked to the point where they were inedible and no one should have been served that as food. It looked like she just randomly went back there and didn't even bother to look at what type of churro I had ordered and just grabbed two of the nastiest most overcooked churros that had been sitting there for hours and put them in the bag. There's one thing I don't accept in food service and that is serving customers food that is totally inedible. That's a rule that folks who work in food service should really adhere to and when they don't, they should be fired.

Always seem to have over charges at this place and this place only. Funny how they say they only pull $35 but my back account says they pulled $50. This is the only place in town I've had issues with like this. Either someone's running a card skimmer or someone's negligent. Be cautious. Check your receipt.

BEST Mexican food place here in Longmont. Eating lunch here, right now. They are always consistent, food is fresh and Soooo delicious.

I spent $21 on a meal, but I could barely cut my steak because they don't provide real silverware. It really ruined the experience for me.
