The service was a bit cold, and although the crepe I ordered was good, I was surprised when the glass of water I received tasted like it had been chlorinated. It was worse than the tap water available in the area. I'm not sure why that was the case.
I've been there for a rotten breakfast with a book. You are sitting right away by friendly staff. Menu was small but offered quality meals design with great care. Loved my pulled ham omelet. Prices are affordable. I was very pleasantly surprised by this little... cozy place.
I was there for breakfeast/lunch on a Saturday. They have a section of the restaurant close to the terrace where where you feel both inside and outside, which is nice. The chairs were kind of a one place sofa and very comfortable. Service was really...fast, though a bit too fast as we felt kind of pushed by the waitress as if she wanted to get our order out as soon as possible and not have to mind about us after. When we were done with our meals I asked for a refill of coffee (I had ordered a regular, filter coffee) only to be told that this restaurant didn't offer refills. I was instantly rebuffed at this instant and wanted to leave: what kind of restaurant thinks itself so exclusive that it doesn't offer coffee refills? I didn't dare to ask for a refill of my glass of water, geez it could raise their municipal taxes! The Maligorn grilled cheese was good, but you can make a better one at home so don't bother try this snobbish place.
The restaurant is charming and inviting, but was a bit difficult to locate as the name on the sign differed from the listing. The menu offers a variety of filling options and different types of flour for the crepes. I ordered the breakfast crepe with bacon and Ezehal cheese, made with a mix of white and buckwheat flour. The filling was delicious, although the buckwheat flour slightly overwhelmed the taste. I think I would have preferred it with just white flour. The fresh fruit served with the crepe was a nice touch.
The food and service at this restaurant were better than average, with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The space is a bit small, but adds to the charm of the place. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for this type of cuisine.
