Resto Le Basou - Longueuil

En franchissant les portes nous avons été acceuillis par le propriétaire en toute simplicité et de façon très agréable et chaleureuse. Le décor est très accrocheur et il règne une belle ambiance malgré le peu de clients ( heure tardive 15:00). Le menu est simple mais bien illustré. Le service est excellent et la nourriture de très bon goût. Un endroit que je recommande pour un Lunch,souper ou une soirée entre amis.

Les 2 fois où j'y suis allée les tartares étaient délicieux ainsi que les frites. La décoration est vraiment belle

I give this place props for some thought in the decor and theme... but that's where the positive stuff ends. We made a reservation for 12:30 and when we arrived they had given our table to someone else, said they were very busy so could only do the brunch menu. There was maybe 10 people in the restaurant. The waiter said he was the only server working. Everything was very slow despite there not even being that many people. We received our food at 1:40. That 1 hour and 10 minutes after our reservation. The entire time there was hardly a 'sorry for the inconvenience' or 'it shouldn't be much longer' they just seemed to be ignoring us. When the food did come it was not good. On their menu they go to lengths to describe their fries as crispy and golden but what we received was close to blackened and oily. The rest of the meal was pretty greasy as well. Furthermore, their prices for what you got were pretty horrible. My burger at lunch was $16. It'd be one thing if it was a great burger but the meat was hard and everything was very greasy. Not worth it at all.Also, points off for having no baby changing thing in the men's washroom. It's 2016. If you're building a brand new restaurant from scratch this isn't hard. Buy the thing, screw it to the wall. I'm not even sure there was one in the women's either.So, if you like your reservation to not be kept, over an hour wait to get your food, very poor service and being practically ignored by the wait staff, then by all means I highly recommend this place. Otherwise, go spend your money on a good meal elsewhere. You won't find it at Bazou.

Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant and very friendly staff to listen to the comments. good quality / price food. new concept in adaptation but very well explained. Bravo and good success!

I ate well for a poutine and a burger. super beautiful atmosphere look very cool inside and good music.
