Porky's Public House Eatery - Longview

The service isn't great but it's a pretty good place. My fiance and me had our first date at Porky's and we go back every year for our anniversary. It's not a bad place.

The menu is small. The food is good. The service is better. Mediocre menu. Pretty good clam chowder and steak bites are pretty good. Not much to choose from and the food is not super awesome. It's not super horrible and the service makes up for the lack of flavor.

Great food and fantastic service...everything was perfect!! Thank you Porky's for being a great local place for us to come and hang out!!

I have lived in Longview for 5 years and today was only my second or third time ever eating at Porkys, despite living less than 2 miles away. Today my two friends and I had a hell day at work (we are all caregivers) so we decided to hit Porkys up for dinner and drinks and it did not disappoint. My friends both ordered off the holiday drink menu and were satisfied with all their drinks except for one, the waitress quickly offered to make her a replacement and when she choose to stick with water they reimbursed her for the drink. I had a delicious Arnold Palmer to drink which was prompt refilled every time it was empty and a mouth watering French dip with fries for dinner. The French dip was moist and cooked perfectly and the aujus is not too salty at all. My friends stuck with appetizers only and truly enjoyed the deep fried mushrooms and the small bucket of fries. We will definitely be back in the future!

First time here and definitely not the last, good food and service.
