Smoke - Lonsdale

I visited on January 29, 2023. Out of the three meals I ordered, only one was decent. They really need a new cook. The service was great, but the food just didn't meet expectations.

If you live within an hour of this amazing BBQ restaurant, consider yourself very fortunate! I went for lunch and would have come back for dinner if I could have! It truly features some of the best food I've ever tasted. For appetizers, we ordered frickles and rosemary pork belly burnt ends – the pickles were outstanding! And the seasoned sour cream that came with them was perfect! The burnt ends were spot on as well! My sister and I shared a parmesan cheese crusted patty melt with tater tots, while my niece enjoyed a brisket sandwich with tots. Everything was delicious! They also offer a wide selection of craft beers.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. You absolutely have to try the garlic fries!

This restaurant has extremely rude staff. The food is below average. It's clear that the locals lack an understanding of what constitutes good food, service, and atmosphere.

Awesome place. I had heard that the food was great, but this evening was our first time there. There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the servers tonight were polite and attentive. We sat outside because the weather was lovely. We tried a couple of the specials duck wontons and the Italian burger. The wontons were great (with a little kick, yum! and so was the burger. We also had one of the combo meals, brisket and herb garlic tots. The brisket was tender, with several layers of tasty flavor. The house made medium bar b que sauce for dipping paired perfectly. Smoke is kid friendly, and our kiddo approved of the chicken strips and fries (also parent tested and approved no dry chicken here! . The price was very reasonable for good quality, tasty food. We will definitely come back, and likely bring our sweet dog to hang out on the patio next time.
