Amherst Shore Country Inn - LORNEVILLE

This restaurant offers a great location surrounded by parks and hiking trails, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. It is about a 30-minute drive from the city center and just a few minutes from the bridge to Prince Edward Island and the border to New Brunswick. The owners, who are also the chef and baker, put their hearts into preparing delicious food and providing warm hospitality to guests at check-in and in the rooms. Additionally, guests may have the chance to meet Marvin, the friendly resident cat with a big personality.

Excellent service and food can be found here. We enjoyed a fantastic meal here last night. We called a few days before to make our decisions. The first course was salad with spinach, Romaine and other greens, strawberries, feta cheese, poppy seeds and dressing.... The second course was scallops in a creamy mushroom sauce, fresh vegetables that was delicious! The last course I enjoyed was a chocolate dessert chocolate sky) with real whipped cream and a raspberry sauce, and my husband had a butterfly pecan cheese cake! We also had the Tidal Bay wine to accompany our meal. Tea and coffee were offered, but we went back. Service is relaxing, but very attentive. This page was the Blomidon Inn in Wolfville on our Bucket list after staying and eating on their sister side. I would definitely recommend and return.

My husband and I just completed a mini stay at Amherst Inn. We decided to eat at the Inn every night. The food was fantastic from the fresh mini-loaf of bread, appetizers, main course and dessert. Absolutely... miraculous aromas and presentation. We highly recommend this place... you will be as much as we are. And don't forget to have breakfast too... will spoil you!

The breakfast is great. the evening meal is a unique culinary experience. 7-7:30. the evening meal is a casual event that takes about 2 hours.

I absolutely adore everything about this restaurant - the food, the rooms, the view, and especially the host. The property is situated by the sea and offers breathtaking views. You will be enamored with the food, most of which is sourced from their garden. The host, Mary, is an incredible baker and I had one of the best breads ever. If you visit for dinner, do not miss out on their mouthwatering lobster scallop dinner - it is of 5-star quality.
