Feedback gevenIs the air conditioning even working? It was incredibly hot inside, and the employees didn't seem happy at all. If you're planning to go and expect the same avocado salsa as before, beware! It's extremely spicy, and I'm saying that as someone who enjoys Mexican food. Honestly, it feels like they do this on purpose to cut costs. The location is awful, and there doesn't seem to be any effort to improve things. Just look at the Yelp reviews; it’s clear the owner doesn’t care. Even when they respond with offers to contact them, it doesn’t lead to any real change. Nothing gets better here.
We ordered two double chicken tostadas, but our order was incorrect. Instead of tostadas, we received what was essentially a chicken salad. We went back to the restaurant, explained the situation, and showed them the order receipt. Without hesitation, the manager took action and placed a new order for us. Although we mentioned that we only needed the tostada shells, she insisted that what we received was different from what we ordered. We assured her it was fine, but she still went ahead with the new order. Despite the busy drive-thru, they had the correct order ready in just a few minutes. The manager apologized for the mix-up, and we appreciated her attentiveness. It was an honest mistake that was resolved smoothly. The food was delicious, and the only minor issue was that the dining area could have been a bit cleaner, but it was manageable. The staff worked hard and were very accommodating, which I truly appreciated. And yes, the food really does taste great!
Dining here has its ups and downs. My biggest beef with this place (is it chicken?) is that they don't provide cardboard beverage carriers. I often order four meals for my elderly parents and sisters, but I can only manage to get three drinks—two in my car cup and one in my hand. Come on, throw in a drink holder! And don't even get me started on what it's like when I pull into the Los Al Blvd location and there are too many people in line.
This is the last time we will patronize this location. Sometime back, I ordered catering and when we went to pick it up, they were 1 hour late I had 60 people waiting to eat! Last week, I ordered early in the day for pickup at 5:15 pm. The order was 1/2 hour late. Not only was it late, it was severely overcooked and was the smallest chicken I have ever seen. The pinto beans were not seasoned, so had very little flavor. I was extremely disappointed as this is not what we expected from El Pollo. I don't know if other locations have this problem, but I would not recommnd using this store.
Don?t order online I ordered online a chicken burrito with no cilantro dressing No pico de gallo No jack cheese They only ended up giving me a burrito full of cilantro dressing and some extra on the side and no avocado this is a horrible place to order online
