India's Oven At Wilshire - Los Alamitos

This is one of those places where you call them a hidden gem. My very first time here and it won't be last. My husband used to come here all the time and this is my first time. we came with friends and we enjoyed a really delicious dinner, outstanding service, amazing ambiance, very laid back, clean bathroom. They brought us sambosas For each couple on the house. They also brought the vegetarian kabobs if I'm not mistaken. It's definitely hidden and it's like on the second floor of a building but it's so worth a try we had multiple dishes from vegetarian to chicken dishes and they were all absolute delicious. My favorite was the butter chicken. My husband had the karahi chicken, which was really good too. Our friends had their vegetarian dishes from the eggplant to the spinach do any other ones, and they were all absolute licious. We had the tea which was OK. In my opinion I've had better but the rice pudding had an odd taste. The mango dessert was really good. Overall it was amazing and I will return here!

We really love going to this restaurant. All of the dishes are excellent and they make it mild for my husband. The staff are so nice and helpful and we enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. My sister and niece came for a visit and they just loved the food.Food: 5/5

Delicious experience — they’re named ‘indias tandoori Brentwood’ on door dash. I’ve had Indian food a few times now and I think their Indian food met the expectation. I had the Karachi paneer and garlic naan. I ordered the peas palou rice but it tasted and looked like regular white rice… not sure if they did my order wrong or. The naan was good, warm and fresh. The paneer was flavorful but I felt like it could’ve been softer maybe it was slightly undercooked? But overall it was an enjoyable experience.

If doing takeout make note that rice is not included and must be ordered separately. Food was ordered spicy but was not spicy at all.
