Thailusion - Los Alamitos

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The Thai cuisine served here is unbeatable and the best I have ever tried.

I recently dined at The Crab Warehouse and ordered the Tom Yum vegetarian and egg rolls Pad Thai. The service was fast and the food was very flavorful, but unfortunately it did not agree with my stomach. The Tom Yum started off good but became too tomato-heavy and sweet for my liking. The crab wontons had a strong cream taste and were not worth the price. The egg rolls were good, but the dipping sauce missed the mark. I did not get to try the Pad Thai as my stomach started to feel upset. I give this place 3 stars for takeout, as it seemed like a cool spot, but after spending $60 I was disappointed to experience food poisoning. I may give it another try in the future, but for now, I have to rate it a 2 due to my unfortunate experience. I had high hopes for this place, but now I regret my decision. No one should have to go through what I went through. I tried to stay positive, but someone really dropped the ball.

Thailusion is a hidden gem in the Los Alamitos area. I have visited twice and the food was excellent both times. The restaurant is clean with beautiful Thai decor. The service is friendly and quick. The menu has a good variety of options. Compared to nearby Coconut Rabbit Thai restaurant, Thailusion has better choices, flavors, and generous portions.

Had the curry food today with a Thai iced tea. I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years. I tend to get curry and pineapple roasted rice. It is always tasteful and pleasant!

One of the very best Thai restaurants in OC. I'm a fan of Chang beer and they have it here. Had the spicy rice which is excellent. Also would recommend Pad Thai. They serve Mango sticky rice when in season. Excellent use of spices. Good heat.
