Amazing eating and very friendly staff. a restaurant with a lot of character.
We liked it enough for us to come back within a week. need to improve the service a bit
I love elegant dining in a homey yet elevated setting (with no dress code! The marble bar, the wood shelves packed with wine bottles and books, the copper pots hanging in the kitchen I am so in love with the feel of this place! Turn around to face framed photos, artwork and cozy booths. French music plays at the perfect volume. I ordered the Soup of the Day (cauliflower with cilantro, black oil and smoked salmon and a Off The Menu Club item beef cheek cooked burgundy style (that's what brought me in. Hadn't heard of it before this week . Cauliflower soup was yummy on its own even yummier with the toppings/garnish mixed in. Perfect for fall. The beef cheek was perfectly cooked and soooo savory! One of the best things I've tried all year! Happy hour is from 4pm-7pm (12pm-7pm on Saturdays . The guy behind the bar (I found out later he's the owner is so nice and sweet. The kitchen opened at 6pm and the restaurant filled up and I still received great service! This is a place where I feel comfortable sitting down for a couple hours. No one is rushing you out the door. This place was a breath of fresh air. Most delightful sit down experience in weeks.
Another great meal at Belle Vie. I am never disappointed and always look forward to returning. What a great neighborhood gem!
