Feedback gevenAuthentic kitchen (we lived in se asia). decor does not make any attempt to dress the fact that it is in a cellar. experience not by viewing several others come after we did and receive service and eat before us.
Tested opentable app and noticed that there were several available openings so reservation for 2. in an empty reservation/host area. we waited approx. 5 minutes and decided to go to the area. a worker (hoss? who was busy putting a table, noticed us and said that we wait to stay sitting. After a few minutes she showed us on our table, but warned us that they were very busy so it can take before we get our food. I told her to cancel our reservation and that we'd rather go somewhere, then wait. However, it did not cancel our reservation so that I was unable to make another reservation on the app. to the happiness we could put ourselves in another restaurant.
The food is enormous, the service is first class, friendly and welcoming. my favorite place to lunch in downtown L.A
The host is rude that our open table reservation did not play a role and we had to wait 35 minutes for a table. wonderfully after 10 minutes, a table was cleaned and we sat for 10 minutes and our dinner order was taken. the dumplings, kong pao garnelen and Mongolian bark was good. our watery Singapore claws arrived with the food. my sohn ordered cheesecake was told 19 minutes later, there was no one, then waited 15 minutes for a bowl of ice. we will never return.
Till this Friday it used to be my favorite places to visit. This time the lady with the specs (who was in charge of sitting everyone) said there is nothing Vegetarian available at the restaurant (which was not true). She just kept coming up with excuses so that we would leave. Thoroughly unpleasant experience and I hate to say but I would not want to revisit one of my favorite places.
