We also tried the churros, and they were delightful. The only downside is that parking is paid, but that's just part of the LA experience. I would definitely return!
They also served complimentary chips with a guacamole salsa that was bursting with flavor. I detected hints of garlic along with various herbs and spices—truly an explosion of taste! I loved it so much that I asked if I could purchase some salsa. I would have taken a gallon, it was that good! They sell it in 8-ounce containers for $6.00, and I wanted five, but the honest staff informed me that I’d have to consume it within four days to avoid the avocado turning brown. So, I opted for three 8-ounce containers instead. On top of that, the horchata was perfectly balanced—a delightful complement to the meal. The neighborhood had charming 1940s architecture, nestled between UCLA and a Catholic university, making for a picturesque stroll with stunning landscaping.
As for wheelchair accessibility, it's unfortunately not accessible.
This restaurant is a must-visit! The burrito is absolutely incredible. My son, who is only five years old, managed to finish three tacos all by himself—can you believe it? Make sure to stop by and explore; you don't want to miss out on these delicious dishes. The owner is incredibly friendly and even gave us an extra tortilla! Everything was so good!
I've been visiting this restaurant for the past two years, but I've noticed that the size of their $13 burrito has been continuously shrinking. Unfortunately, it's now about the height of a soda can and much skinnier, making it hard for me to justify returning. I even offered to pay extra for a bit more food to make it more of a proper meal (I'm a 190 lb, 6'1" guy, not particularly huge), but the rude counter attendant told me that unless I wanted to spend $4 on extra meat or $4 on extra guacamole, I could just leave. After ordering here over 40 times, this will definitely be my last visit. It's unfortunate because the food is tasty and has a lot of potential, but the management is being penny-wise and pound-foolish. The attitude of the guy behind the counter, who clearly doesn't belong in a customer service position, didn't help either. Is it too much to ask to pay more for a burrito that includes everything? Apparently, I have to choose just one filling. What a letdown.
