I ordered their breakfast burrito and it was not to my liking. Egg whites I don't mind, but they tasted lacking of any seasoning such as salt or pepper. Sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes had a rough contrast against the turkey sausage. The turkey sausage was good, but the sweet potatoes and thin layer of guac was not making this burrito worth it. Their red salsa that came with the burrito was severely lacking in flavor. It tasted more like tomato puree with no spice whatsoever.I'm sure this place is great but not for me. Maybe I need to try a different item from their menu...
Greenleaf is a really nice spot for a good happy hour deal to catch up with friends while enjoying a variety of bar items, a handful of which are vegan friendly. During their 4-6 weekday happy hour, we got a glass of wine $6) and snacked on their Charred Buffalo Cauliflower $7), vegan by nature minus the dipping sauce. The bartender was very sweet to make sure to top off my glass and make sure it was equal to my friend's, since he arrived earlier than me. Shout to Brandi for being the real MVP. The vibe is also nice especially sitting at the bar and getting a 360 view of the entire restaurant. Floor to ceiling windows really brighten up the restaurant and adds to the ambiance. Although I can't comment on their entrees, the happy hour choices were good and I'd certainly come back in the future.
I ordered the California Benedict (single egg) and a side of bacon and it took them 25 minutes for my meal to be ready. Not only that but it didn't taste as good as I hope for in an eggs benedict. The egg-to-potato ratio was very uneven. Lowkey wished I spent $15 on Mcdonalds instead.
The food was amazing, the group that I was with ordered a pretty large amount of food, but they still gave us our food in about 5 minutes, the service was great, it wasn't too crowded, and the atmosphere was great inside and outside. They also had a projector and a large tv with football games on them if you're into that sort of thing.Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and sandwiches, very vegan and vegetarian friendly.
Amazing food with options for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters! They also have a great kids menu. Great service, food came out very quickly. The bar has a variety of drinks and beer on tap. Super cute spot with great ambiance for all occasions.
