Amazing service and delicious food – a true LA Mecca of goodness with huge stories. Love that the males come all from interesting walks of life - the table next to us was a group of civilian great judges on the lunch break, behind us was board members of a non-profit and I had a Fab with one of my former PhD professors in education. I enjoyed 1/2 of a beautiful Chili Relleno sandwich and took the other 1/2 home. With more people, an order of Chiliquetas is a must. Thanks Homeboy for the possibility Homegirl Café.

Take the GOLD LINE from Union Station one stop to Chinatown Station. The Cafe is just across the street. Your purchase of a delicious sandwich or pastries supports youth programs. Green Potion ?????

The menu is not that extensive but the taste is good. They have good vegetarian dishes here. This place helps former gang members to get out of it and get a better life. If you want to support their cause, then it's worth checking this place out.

I stopped for lunch. I enjoyed my salad they had great portions for a decent price. They also had a delicious Berry Fresca, moreover everything for a good thing and my waitress was super friendly.

Went to Homegirl today for brunch and left very satisfied. My boyfriend and I split the chili relleno grilled cheese, which I read was very popular, with a side salad. The grilled cheese was more than filling and all of the veggies in it were seasoned perfectly. We got it on the sourdough bread, which I highly recommend. The sandwich also came with egg on it. The side salad was light and had a delicious dressing.
