I hadn't had dim sum in years due to its lack of vegan options, so I was thrilled to discover this restaurant and convinced my significant other to take me there for my birthday. As I indulged in some of my favorite dishes - fried mochi with mince, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf - I couldn't help but feel emotional. There were so many options to choose from, and each dish perfectly captured its essence. The texture of the siu mai was unique and unusual, but still incredibly delicious. I highly recommend trying the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf (lor mai gai), a childhood favorite that is often overlooked and more filling than the other options. We visited for lunch on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait time and fast service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
I’m so excited to have a vegan dim sum option near me on the westside!! I’ve been craving this for years and have so much trouble finding it happy accidental Jewish Christmas Discovery! The chef used to be vegan so there is an entire vegan menu with a ton of very satisfying options including multiple desserts
I wish I could give them 5 stars! I love that they have a separate vegan page in the menu, everything was delicious and authentic. Indoor lots of outdoor seating. Street parking, there are some metered not metered spots.
We tried nearly every item on the vegan dim sum menu and found everything to be delicious. The mochi balls and BBQ steamed buns were particular favorites. They even offer almond milk for the milk teas. The server robot, while not directly related to the food, was a delightful touch. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor patio, which is dog-friendly, is a nice feature. This will definitely be my go-to spot for dim sum, and I can't wait to bring my vegan friends here!
