Judi's Deli Inc - Los Angeles

Good food. during the lunch hours beat so that people become impatient, but eating will be prepared after the order (as it should be), so naturally there is a waiting time. I have eaten several times and have not yet disappointed.

I wish there was the option of giving a no star rating because even one star feels like too much for this place. I was having a quick lunch with a friend who suggested Judi's because it was convenient and quick there was no line and no crowd. I ordered a few small side salads (chicken salad, egg salad and tuna salad) and they were mediocre at best. What happened next should never, ever happen anywhere! A gentleman had gotten up from the table he was eating at and left. He ordered soup and the bowl was half full. One of the employees who cleared the table picked up the bowl of soup and DUMPED IT BACK INTO the pot of soup that was cooking on the stove! I was horrified and speechless! My friend and I immediately stopped eating and left. My biggest regret is that I didn't say something to the employees or tried to track down the owner. I do not recommend this place! Do yourself a favor and never eat here.

Just had their special chipotle chicken sandwich . It literally had 4 pieces of small diced chicken in the sandwich !!! I have been going to them in the past for lunch quite often since I work at Cedars. I hadn't been there for about 2-3 weeks . I understand the cost of food has gone up . I am ok with them raising their prices which they have done. But please don't cheat and rip people off by reducing the quantity of the food. That's not ok!

I'm only giving two stars because I really like their tortilla soup but today amongst many other days I ordered the chorizo burrito with the house fries. Not only was my burrito pure egg with barely any chorizo leaving me with an egg burrito I literally asked the guy on the phone 3X to make sure my house fries would be cooked well done because they give you under cooked potatoes. He said ok with an attitude and hung up. AND OF COURSE THEY WERENT COOKED WELL DONE! You guys have the audacity to charge restaurant prices for mediocre food! DO BETTER!

Judis Deli is probably my top choice for food while at Cedars Sinai. Far superior than the hospital food and probably the best option you'll find without leaving the hospital. 5 stars but I do believe the prices are a bit inflated.
