The room's plumbing was strange, with the sink having a volume knob on the right and a non-functional temperature knob on the left. The shower had a single knob that only rotated towards hot, making it difficult to adjust the water flow. The biggest issue was the noise from the rooftop bar on the 14th floor, which hosted a private event on Friday night with loud music that kept me up until 3:00 A.M. Furthermore, the area around the hotel in downtown LA was unpleasant, with homeless people, trash, and other unsightly conditions.
I’m giving this review based off the experience I had with Amber. I was visiting from New York and having a hard time adjusting to LA and Amber was thoughtful and kind and intentional. Amber thank you so much. I will never forget youRooms: Great I loved it
Great hotel mixing design and a sense of coolness yet professionalism rarely seen elsewhere. The location in downtown LA makes you feel the city vibes... The architecture of the building is awsom. The rooms are well equiped/practical and stylish at the same time. And there's always something happening at the the rooftop pool&bar. Let yourself surprise !

The hotel is decent, but the modern urban design can be frustrating as it results in rooms lacking basic amenities like a spot to hang toiletries. The biggest issue, however, is the noisy rooms that are not soundproofed at all. I had trouble sleeping for 2 hours on my first night due to what seemed to be a street festival. Additionally, the $30/night destination fee is excessive, especially considering the lack of certain essentials. For that price, one would expect at least a functioning toilet, as I had to fix the flusher upon arrival.
