M'dears - Los Angeles

Absolutely fantastic fried chicken. I hadn’t found really anything that could hit the spot. Lots of places claim southern roots but this place, my goodness, crispy and juicy. Just right. Owner was super friendly too.

I went there primarily for the sweet potato pancakes. I also had the potatoes and sausage, which came with onions and bell peppers. Just a heads up, breakfast is served until 1:45 PM! In the end, I decided to try the salmon over a spinach salad with balsamic dressing, and I really enjoyed it.

This place is fantastic! I rate it 5 stars because the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was very inviting and full of warmth.

Food was not seasoned as expected. Requested addition of seasoning and still couldn't taste the flavor. Although most things are very good. Just had an issue with the way the fish were seasoned. Also wish they would add turkey chops

I want to clarify that I'm not complaining about the food—it was good—but the customer service from the older staff at the front was lacking. It's a shame because it was the younger employee who ended up assisting me today. I don't know if anyone really pays attention to these reviews, but I would really appreciate better customer service from such a fine establishment. I love you all at M Dears! Just a message for the front-of-house team: please be patient with one another, greet and acknowledge customers, and make the most of your day. I'll definitely be back to share my experiences.
