What's going on? Apparently I got a salad and onion sandwich with a hint of beef. There were literally 3 pieces of meat in the whole sandwich. The bread was beautiful and soft, only no meat. NEW

The best sandwiches in the San Fernando Valley! I've been eating there since my college days in the 80s.

Nicely toasted sandwiches. Good tomato salad FYI no coffee or tea served. Only non sugar drink is BRISK fountain Iced Tea.

Sub-Sandwich was fresh and delicious, have seen this place for some time now, glad I finally made it in. Price was also reasonable. I'll be recommending this to family and friends.

My Hero has sandwich shop has been around since 1964! That 's right, since The Beatles played on The Ed Sullivan Show! So it was time to check them out! I ordered a My Hero Special which is like your classic italian. It was really good. They pot a tomato salad on all their sandwiches. They were very nice. It 's affordable. I wish they had a deal that included a bag of chips and a drink. That 's where things started to add up. Still not too bad. Ask for mayo, lettuce, onions and pickles added to your sandwich, all at no additional cost. Plenty of parking! They have three tables and a large counter with stools. They do have a high chair! They were very fast too! A great place if you want to grab a quick lunch that isn 't fast food.
