Do not come here the location is closed even though it shows up on Google search. If only I had read the one review with a warning before coming here.
A wonderful healthy option to Mexican food . Friendly service. Will keep in mind next time we are in town
I love coming here when I'm in the mood for some quick Mexican food downtown. I always go for the shredded chicken but they had the seasonal El Pastor when I stopped in the other day so I gave it a shot since it's my favorite. I love the amount of toppings and add-ons you can get, including FREE GUAC (I think at least, they didn't charge my friend and I). Al pastor was a bit more of a stewed type than the usual grilled and cut off the spit, but it's to be expected. Only downside is the sides end up being very wet, and it makes a bit of a puddle in the salad/bowl. Prices are ok by DTLA standards at about $10-11 for a large portion, but not cheap. Nice outdoor patio, limited indoor seating and always a bit of a crowd at lunch.
One of the major Mission-style burrito taquerias in the City. Their burritos are definitely good stuff (and make sure you're hungry, because they're huge), but I have had a number of times where my order didn't come out as requested (wrong or missing ingredients). That being said, when they're on, they're definitely good. Their salsa bar, however, could be better.
