Today I visited my friend from Paris to enjoy lunch in her outdoor area. In addition to the appetizers, we ordered two salads. It was only when I came to the bottom of the salad I noticed a long, curly hair floating in the dressage. I put the plate to the side not to melt. Shortly afterwards my friend found another hair on the other salad plate, and yet a third shorter hair on the edge of the plate. It turned our stomachs that we all had, but our meal ended and then had 3 hair? but this is not even the main problem. I asked for the manager, explained the situation and he immediately removed all records from our table. When he did not apologize, I thought he would come back to do this, and perhaps our glasses of wine or maybe dessert. He never came to our table again. We paid the bill (IN FULL) and still no excuse that we have finished our food and what have they to do?! I said to the first man I spoke with (red/brown hair) that in such a case he should at least show some concern?.and he simply grimaced. I should say our waiter was very attentive, but I will now look for a new favorite restaurant in which they actually appreciate their patrons.
This place is solid!! Highly recommended for traditional Italian food. Staff is also wonderful and will make sure you are well taken care of.
Boyyyyyyy.....I've been walking by Palmeri Ristorante for quite some time but never thought to drop in for lunch or dinner. When I was working in the area, a sit down was not often an option for short lunches. Not your average Italian Restaurant. A fine dining restaurant with glass windows all around, a great set up for a romantic date. I'm happy that I finally got the opportunity to stop in for lunch. With all the Covid craziness, the restaurant was mostly empty. Our party of 2 was seated near the window. We started off with iced teas and the mushroom soup. Mushroom Soup was delicious and very hot. It was a soup kind of day. The complimentary bread was soft and fresh. My main was the Tagliatelle. Absolutely some of the best Tagliatelle I've ever had. The pasta wasn't too soft or too hard, it was just perfect. Bolognese sauce was full of savory flavor and every bite was perfection. Fast and friendly service, with very attentive servers. Our iced teas and waters were filled without ever having to ask. Street metered parking or in the back lot. Validation available.
Great dinner on a busy Saturday. The bread and the side ricotta with tomato sauce was so good. Pasta pepardele was delicious and so was the chocolate hazelnut cake. Good service and all around good experience.
Amazing service, vibe, and food. After hearing all the great things about Mr. Octavio and his restaurant, I had to check it out for myself. I have to say hands down the best food I have had in Los Angeles. If you don't try you are missing out. will be returning soon for my girls b day!
