Pastina Trattoria - Los Angeles

I stumbled upon this charming restaurant on Westwood Blvd, just a few blocks north of West Pico Blvd. It is nestled in a quiet residential area, giving it a true neighborhood feel, as I observed the staff and manager engaging with regular patrons. I thoroughly enjoyed a delectable dish of sand dabs (a type of small fish native to California, similar to sole). The attentive and friendly waiter offered to customize my meal by substituting spaghetti with olive oil and garlic for potatoes, sautéed spinach for roasted vegetables, and omitting capers from the lemon butter sauce. This personalized dish was just right for the mild spring evening. The house Chardonnay was the perfect pairing. If I were a resident of LA, I would definitely become a regular at this establishment.

This is our preferred local restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and it is always a pleasure to dine here.
