Excellent marinated olives, fantastic service, great selection of wines for those who are into that and non alcoholic options like sparkling water for those who aren’t. The patio is small — but also cute, colorful, and feels private. the atmosphere inside is stylish and relaxed. Service is attentive and warm. Highly recommend you check this place out! Be prepared with your vax card and don’t be a big weird middle aged baby about the deadly global pandemic.
Great wines, great service, excellent deals on full bottles.
Very nice wine and bites with reasonable prices. Slight case of gen-whatever indifference from behind the bar here but no biggie. Typical LA. Maybe that’s why it was so quiet here on a Friday night. Some people don’t get the hospitality aspect of bar/restaurants. We really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely come back.
Pleasant spot with a nice menu and good wine list. The rear courtyard is cool. Sometimes people smoke cigarettes in the back, would be nice if they didn't. Nice booths
I wish so badly that this place could become THE spot in the neighborhood, but unfortunately every time I go in there, it is a very weird experience. First of all, YES! The music is waaaayyy too loud!!! Everyone has been saying this for years but there has been no change. I'm not sure what the point of the loud music is, it is not good for the atmosphere. They do have a fairly decent food menu, although don't expect anything gourmet. The poor guy making the meals is not given a proper kitchen and makes all of the food directly behind the bar. The cuban is filling and is of pub standard. I'd try El Cochinito on Sunset for an authentic Cuban. Not bad, not the best. I don't know if they still do smash burgers on Wednesdays but that was their best food. Now, as for the staff; Everyone is amazing and super pleasant, except for the middle aged, curly haired bartender. Every time I've been in there, he is condescending and snarky which is very strange. It doesn't match the vibe of the bar and seems like it creates a strange dynamic with the other staff. He also has talked about me to other staff members while I'm standing right there and I felt super uncomfortable. Maybe he was having a bad day, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The woman bartender with the cool style is super sweet and welcoming as is the guy preparing the food. I hope they take feedback from all of the neighborhood comments. This place has great potential but a few things that have put me off for a while.
