I really appreciated that they provide purified water on each floor, along with ice right next to it. Another great feature of this hotel is that the staff will send you text messages to check in on your needs. They even asked if I wanted a wake-up call or a taxi the day before I checked out. I simply texted them to request a 1 PM checkout, and it was so easy to communicate with them. CJ and Frankie were especially helpful. Checkout is normally at 12 PM, but they kindly offered an extended checkout time until 1 PM at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this hotel due to its reasonable prices and its location in Koreatown, where there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. It's a shame I didn't think to take any pictures during my stay!

Great customer service! Complimentary bottle of water and glass of wine offered on arrival! Complimentary coffee for breakfast as well! Convenient location in the heart of Koreatown with lots of shops, restaurants and bars! Air conditioning in the room is fantastic! My complaints here are: $200 deposit required at check in! The floor is wooden and creaky! No swimming pool! No laundry room! No fitness center! Noise interruption from adjacent rooms! The chair in my room was stained and so is the desk! Ice machine not working!

I give 5 stars to all the staff at the front desk and valet! The service was excellent, and everyone was extremely friendly. You can't go wrong with the evening wine time! The morning coffee was lovely as well. This charming old hotel is full of history and conveniently located near the LA Convention Center, Hollywood, and plenty of nearby dining options (I highly recommend Toast Rice). There's also a Starbucks just a block away.

This is the second time I've stayed here this year, and I experienced two very different rooms. The customer service from all staff—front desk, valet, and cleaning staff—was courteous and helpful. I had a full night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. The water pressure was excellent in the large vintage tub, and I appreciated having a refrigerator in the room as well as air conditioning. I will definitely return. Thank you!

A lot of positives here. Great location in the heart of Koreatown. Helpful staff with a high attention to detail. Charming vintage rooms. However, there were also a few big negatives that kept our stay from being a great one. The first night, we discovered that our room was situated on the side of the hotel next to a nightclub. It was loud in our room until the wee hours of the morning. Earplugs in the room would have been a nice touch here. The morning, unfortunately was not better. I woke just after 9am to the crashing sound of what I believe was the cleaning staff's cart arriving on our floor of the hotel. The walls are thin here, so we could clearly hear the staff knocking on the doors of other rooms. Given that the noises that woke me were all outside of our room, the do not disturb sign doesn't help much here. Unfortunately, with how hard it was to get a good night's sleep on the weekend here, I can't say I'd want to return.
