The Proud Bird Food Bazaar Events Center

The Proud Bird is an excellent restaurant offering delicious food, fantastic cocktails, and a charming old Los Angeles atmosphere, just two miles from LAX. The parking lot and outdoor seating area are adorned with life-size replicas of World War II fighter planes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this spot.

We had a wonderful experience at The Proud Bird! They surprised us with a private room, which we really appreciated since we hadn't requested it. Our waiter, Raphael, was fantastic! I'm so grateful to The Proud Bird for making my birthday truly memorable!

My only minor issue was that the restaurant felt a bit chilly, and I had to keep my coat on. I particularly loved the central station featuring turkey dinner options as part of the brunch. The waffles lived up to my memories, and the cappuccino was just as fantastic as I recalled. We were able to relax and linger over our meal for about two hours without feeling rushed. The omelet station was manned by a friendly and efficient server who cooked them to perfection. The selection of fresh fruit was impressive, with plenty of sweet strawberries. The restaurant was also spacious enough for seniors with walkers and canes to move around comfortably, which my dad appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful time at a great price.

Great buffet lunch for holiday parties or for working lunch. If you are doing working lunch there are tables that are quiet and removed from the crowds. If you are celebrating there are tables that can accommodate groups or just 1-2 people. Food is amazing and buffet lunch is very reasonable price with a variety of choices to fit any type of diet (vegan, vegetarian, beef, fish, chicken, etc. with awesome desert table.

Some mixed reviews so was not sure what to expect but enjoyed all of our meals, loved the kitschy concept, and service was great.
