Wokcano Downtown La - Los Angeles

I really like Wokcano, the ambiance is, for me, excellent. It's not too noisy, there are booths as well as tables. The bar is a few steps above the main dining area, making it feel cozy. It's also not super bright; it's not so dark that you can't see anything, but the lights are not glaring. The food is solid; I've never had a bad meal here. It's not hauté cuisine, just good food with a lot of flavor. The customer service top notch, friendly and welcoming. They accept cash, credit, and Apple Pay. I've eaten in the restaurant and ordered takeout, and the food is consistently good.

Simply never a bad time at Wokcano. They consistently manage to hit the spot with signature yet simple Asian fusion and keep it welcoming from a fun with friends at reasonable prices perspective.

California Rolls were tasty and fresh. They have great deals for happy hour as well.

Great place to come for drinks with friends on a date, by yourself. Sharon the bartender is delightful, very knowledgeable, friendly, finds the time to connect with all the customers while making the yummiest buzziest drinks. Adding the miso soup salad to any of your entrees is a must. they have a good happy hour reversed happy hour.

My server Kay was quite gracious. She explained the popular dishes and had some nice recommendations which I ended up ordering (chicken fried rice combo and chocolate lava.cake).
