Los Pintxos De Hache - Los Barrios

I went to lunch today as i had heard good things about this restaurant and i thought some nice tapas would hit the spot after some shopping in the area. We sat outside and a waiter quickly came over and took our order, we ordered 3 tapas and 6 pintxos. We waited 45 mins for 1 tapa to arrive, after which another 10 mins the next one arrived by this point after waiting nearly an hour for only a small portion of our meal to arrive i asked for the bill and asked the waiter why the food was taking so long. He replied that it was not his fault that the food was taking so long, and he could not do anything about it. He informed us that the food, was not pre prepared but done as and when the orders came. Which i pointed that the table which sat next to us had arrived after we did and have been served food before we had, to which he again blamed the kitchen staff. Which i still thought was a feeble excuse. He later returned with another of our tapas and said he was not going to charge us anything for the drinks, which on his behalf of his gesture was nice. But when the bill came our 6 pintxos were not on the bill and he did not even bring as i would assume he would not bother with them. We paid and we left. In short, this is my 1st time to this place and myself and my partner left disappointed and hungry, and i would be in no rush to be returning to this restaurant soon. I am only give them a 2 star rating because at least the waiter gave us the drinks for free, and the food was not bad. I would not recommend anyone in going to this place.

Good for something quick if you are in the area. Offers a good selection of pinchos of different varieties, all very reasonably priced. Perhaps not the place to go if you are looking for dishes and 3 proper meals, but if all you want is a quick snack or tapas at reasonable prices, this place might be what you are after.
