El Rey Del Taco - Los Fresnos

I had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant! I highly recommend it. I ordered the taco plate, which came with 6 delicious tacos. The tortillas were small, but they were stuffed full and 6 tacos were enough to fill me up. I also ordered the charro beans on the side, and I recommend the special beans because they were topped with fresh avocado, queso fresco, and chopped beef. My daughter ordered the chicken tostadas, which were loaded with chicken, lettuce, queso fresco, and avocado. The order came with three tostadas. My husband ordered a torta de bisteq, and he said it was good. The torta was filling and packed with beef, lettuce, queso fresco, and beans. He chose to leave out the cilantro and grilled onions. The waitress was friendly, and the restaurant was clean with a good ambiance.

Taquitos is the closest thing to authentic Mexican food in the area. They offer tastier options by adding avocado to their dishes, unlike traditional Mexican cuisine which only includes cilantro and onion. However, be aware that they charge a 3% commission for credit or debit card payments, which some may find unfair. The service is excellent and friendly, and the food is delicious. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, and they provide special chairs for babies. Overall, Taquitos is a great option for lunch with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. The restaurant has a rating of 4 for food quality, 3 for service, and 4 for atmosphere. The recommended dishes are the Tacos de Bistec. There is plenty of free parking available.

This is our favorite spot to visit when we are in the Rio Grande Valley. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

The food and service at this restaurant were both excellent. The Frijoles Especial dish was particularly delicious. The only downside was that the 6 tacos de bistek were packed tightly in aluminum foil for takeout, which made them a bit messy to eat. However, this did not affect the great taste of the tacos. The overall service was top-notch, and the meal was perfect for dinner. The price per person was between $10-20. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Tacos De Bistek.
