Great place to get some breakfast in Los Osos. This place offers both indoor and outdoor dining. They have a decent menu with something for the kids too. There is minutes parking in the lot but lots of street parking. The food is decent and the prices are comparable. Service could do a little better. Overall a decent place to try out. The Denver omelet was good .
The food remains of good quality. The setting is nice. Service is good. But ... ownership has changed and they have decided that to make money they need to not only increase prices, but decrease portion size. My wife had the curry wrap. The flavor was good, but there was very little meat in it ... mostly lettuce and rice. I had a go-to favorite of the corned beef hash. Again, good flavor, but the portion was the size of a thin hockey puck. For $16+. The server confirmed that the new owners have purposely cut the portion size. I have no problem with prices going up ... you see those and they can be attributed to inflation. But don't increase the price and then surprise diners with a small meal.
The food was quite good, but we had to get our own menus after 10 minutes, and then go find the waiter when we wanted to order. And then after ordering we still had a long wait. Edit: ownership has changed. They raised the prices and decreased the portions and it's worse than before.
Each time we visit Los Osos we stop at Celia's garden Cafe for good food, friendly service and lovely nature environment. Lots of outdoor space with umbrellas and dogs welcomed there.
