Phonheuang Cafe - Louang Namtha

This restaurant is a hidden gem off the beaten path. We initially tried to visit on a Sunday but found it closed, so we decided to give it another shot while staying at a nearby hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh and delicious food. The Vietnamese spring rolls were a hit, especially when paired with the peanut sauce. My beef noodle dish came with a tasty deep-fried spring roll on the side. My wife enjoyed her basil dish as well. The owners were friendly and even turned on two fans for us during our meal. Overall, a great dining experience.

We dined at this restaurant four times while in LP. My favorite dishes were the bo bun and the spring rolls. The sauce was delicious and shouldn't be missed. All menu items are priced under 30k, which is very reasonable for the area. The soup I had when I was feeling sick really helped me feel better. Overall, it was a great dining experience with a local atmosphere.

This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, despite being located in the old town. However, it is definitely worth the visit. The food is both affordable and delicious. I ordered the crispy fried squid (15k) which came with plenty of pieces. I found it to be a bit too salty, but it would pair well with rice or noodles. I also tried the Bo-Bak, a popular Vietnamese noodle dish featuring sliced cooked beef and fresh spring rolls with white noodles. The flavors reminded me of my time in Hanoi. Note: I visited on a Sunday afternoon but found the restaurant closed.

Our favorite restaurant during our time in lung prabang! so cheap and delicious homemade Lao dishes. small, quiet, friendly environment. only outside seats. we went to lunch and then to dinner on the same day, because it was so good!

Unbelievable quality great prices. Nice location. Many Vietnamese dishes. Excellent quality wonderful taste. Good portions. Can recommend to all. Spot on.
