The hotel had a beautiful spa, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. The beds at this hotel were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep.

Was excited to be visiting this hotel for a family lunch as I have great memories of it from a family wedding pre covid. There were three in our party and we ordered bar food, there weren't too many other tables occupied so I would describe it as not overly busy. I cannot fault the food but the service was awful. It was not down to inadequate staffing because there were staff members floating and in fairness asking if we needed anything else etc once our food did arrive. It was just over 45 minutes wait before we got our food, from what we could judge the delay seemed to be on the prep/kitchen side of things. I have been generous and deducted a star for this reason, one of our party was actually on a lunch break of an hour so ended up having to rush her food. The second star is deducted for something that irritates me greatly, I ordered a sandwich and americano, (with the intention of having a desert but we ran out of time! . The coffee was brought to me straight away but the sandwich took 45 minutes..... why do eateries of every description do this, serve the coffees and teas straight away and then leave the customers waiting for the food, they should come together!! Is it a way of telling the powers that be in an establishment that the customer was served within a few minutes of ordering? Overall verdict: tasty food, be patient and allow for over an hour for lunch.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is a good distance from the airport we flew into. I think it was over 3hrs drive, but we set up a car service with the hotel...
