Arrived to the most friendly welcome by the bar staff Carol, Katie and Micky. Food was delicious, drinks were fab and staff were so helpful (bar and kitchen), nothing was a problem. Entertainment on the Friday night was brilliant, DJ and Karoke. House very spacious. Rooms are fabulous all ensuite and very clean. Kitchen stocked with all condiments. The bar has lovely staff and great value food, but the accommodation is some of the worst I've ever experienced. The rooms are simply dilapidated: worn-out mattress, no lightbulb in the bathroom, heating off in January, furniture filthy. Obviously you're right over the pub so the rooms are about as loud as you'd expect. All in all, sleep quality is very low. One perk is the communal kitchen: you'll find fruit, instand coffee, sliced pan and some cereal there all day long. Rooms: The accommodation is too shoddy and expensive to even be considered a legitimate budget or no-frills option.
