Bourbon Raw - Louisville

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the portion size of the Shrimp Grits. Given the price, I expected more grits and sauce on the plate. It barely felt like a lunch portion, especially since we ordered dinner at 7:30 PM, and I was still hungry afterward. When we brought this up to the waiter, he was kind enough to offer a free dessert, but I would have preferred to feel satisfied by my main course instead of relying on dessert. For a $27 dish, I felt let down by the portion size.

I can only give Bourbon Raw one star because I can't go any lower! If you’re looking for poor service, incorrect orders, or food served on your lap, then this is the place for you! Our group of seven was treated as though we were interrupting the staff's break from the start. Our waitress was unfriendly and acted as though taking our order was a hassle. I ordered an appetizer that never arrived, while everyone else at the table received their food. When I brought this to her attention, she actually complained about the situation and seemed annoyed by the request. Even when she offered to bring it to me, it felt insincere and disrespectful. I remained polite despite her terrible attitude. One member of our group ordered the dry ribs, which were awful—overcooked and just sprinkled with some seasoning. Given the prices, I expected at least a well-prepared dish and for my entire order to be delivered. To make matters worse, they automatically added a 20% gratuity, meaning the waitress received a tip for being rude and ruining our evening, which could have been spent at a place that actually values its customers. If you want good food and a pleasant atmosphere, stay away from Bourbon Raw. RUN! You won’t want to stay here!

I had a fantastic dinner and would definitely return to the area. The food was expertly cooked and bursting with flavor.

I visited Saturday at 3:00. There wasn't much waiting time, which was nice. The attitude was nice. I had a hot brown sandwich that was decent. I wouldn't say amazing, but it was worth the price.

Great experience at Bourbon Raw. Dinner was amazing and perfect place for large groups. What was supposed to be a date night became a group dinner and they were able to accommodate gracefully. Our entire table of 8 had different meals and everyone was pleased : Look forward to visiting again
