Feedback gevenThe food was hot, fresh and delicious. the prices were average. clean restaurant. I had half a huh with cauliflower and green beans. probably the best I ever had. cornbread was moist like cake, not gritty or dry. would go again.
Dear man in the white hat, I wouldn't give anyone a negative assessment of an experience I had unless I was very disappointed. they know that you eat is bad, because that is why I advertise their business, they have some of the most delicious grills in the city. but to do with the employment of the cashier, as if she didn't want to be there to wait almost half an hour for my order before they called me into the window to tell me that from what I ordered, then the young man proposed something else and I had to sit there for another 25 minutes. Thank you, sir.
Had one of the worst experiences ever wait for my eating! I had to wait 45 minutes for a drawn pork sandwich and a drink. I understand that they were underoccupied, but the entire crew seemed uninterested and out of intervention. the girl that took my order was extremely rude! she had no problem to keep her mind on how tired she was and how long the day was. After receiving my order, she offered no support to the kitchen staff to help speed up the accusations and there were several employees who were just laughing and jokingr standing. I won't be back and I don't recommend anyone. the lobby was terrible! dirty unkempt and as I said, there were several employees who could just stand around and clean the lobby, but they didn't.
To go holy smokes bbq was a very interesting experience. a friend of mine was after me to try the ripening of the turkey. I was with another friend who had a taste for a couple of barbeque pork that everyone knows I don't eat pork, so I kindly went back. but after a lot of conviction I gave in. young! I was glad. I ordered a turkey-rib dinner with two side orders. the flesh on them felt like eating a smoked truthahnbein. I'm going to go back for seconds.
Since this restaurant changed ownership, it has down downhill, big time. I have called at least 10 times over the past 2 months to order lunch for pick up. Only 1 time has the phone been answered, only to be told they were not taking pick up orders. To demonstrate their lack of attention to detail , over these last 2 months calling to place an order, a recording comes on and constantly repeats, but mentions specials in October and November of last year!. Today I called from Planet Fitness to order lunch, plus give them ample time to prepare the order. Was on the phone over 5 minutes, with that repeating message with the phone NEVER picked up. Wanted to see how long before my call was answered, but Holy Smokes wore me out and I gave up after the 5 minutes. Realize the challenge with labor and staffing, but the owners are clueless or simply do not care about customer service as the phones are as important as customers walking into the establishment
