Feedback gevenThis place is so cute, and the menu sounded so interesting. I wish I had liked it more than I did. My friend and I had got the baked Brie as an appetizer. It was way too sweet with more fruit preserves than cheese. Ok. Maybecwe just had the wrong expectation. Then for the main dish, I got a wine flight and the Brussels sprouts. I was very satisfied. My friend, though, got the mushroom risotto, and it was inedibly salty. She asked the server (who I believe was a manager) to bring some plain bread so she could use the risotto more as a dip. The bread is really good by the way, but it didn't help calm down the risotto. The server offered to remake the risotto, but my friend had already lost her appetite. If we had just gotten wine and Brussels sprouts, I might have left a raving 5 star review. However the brie and risotto were bad enough that I give a 3 star review and will not likely return.
What can I say other than this place doesn't disappoint. The food is good, the drinks are good. This place is one of my favorites for a reason. It can feel crowded with tables so close together. Something to be aware of if you'd rather not be part of the next table's conversation.
Brendan, the assistant manager, was AMAZING. He was training someone and took the time to answer all our questions about the wine flights and our food selection. Loved this restaurant. Highly recommend for all occasions. What a gem.
It wasn't a bad experience. We went on 1/2 off featured wine night. The experience was nice. Wait staff was amazing, food was good. But it's not worth the parking headache. Nice place, but I probably won't return.
Eat here; you can taste the pride and professionalism of the cook staff in every bite. If you also often find yourself thinking that you could have made something almost as good at home like I do, you will Not have that problem here, I promise. The servers were very nice and knowledgeable without any condescension .
