The barbecue, hash, and pork skins are always on point at Purvis' BBQ. The sauce is delicious and the taste is always consistent, so you know that you are getting the same delicious food every time. It's a great little family owned restaurant.

I've been eating Purvis BBQ for as long as I can remember, and it has always been great. I now live in NC, where BBQ is supposed to be awesome, and it's good, but it's not great like Purvis BBQ is. Simple, family friendly place. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but man the Brunswick stew is THE BEST! I haven't had it from any place that is remotely as good as theirs. Lonnie and his family have been making BBQ every weekend for a very long time, and they know what they are doing. I only wish it could be a BBQ chain, so I didn't have so far to drive now (5 hours) to get it. I highly recommend you go to Purvis BBQ!

OMG......!!!!! Best side of road stop I've EVER done. Literally beat pulled pork I've had and that says a lot. It is vinegar based and f* $in awesome! The Brunswick stew I've never had before so the owner gave me a sample and it's all just hands down the best bbq I've ever had.
