I live in Austin, Texas and this is the closest you can come to real Tex Mex comfort food. Can't understand any of the complaints and bad reviews about price. Price has nothing to do with the great food served at Ramiro's. For the quantity, great presentation, and great taste the price is just right. The only shortcoming has to be the chips. Texas chips arelighter and stronger to hold more guacamole per bite, but Ramiro's chips are great New Mexico style chips. Don't miss thisgreat restaurant if you are in Louisville.
Went here for a quick bite and really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is open and inviting, plus the staff is great. Nice variety of food items and drinks, so anyone can find something to enjoy. The queso is excellent and the street tacos weredelicious?I recommend trying the birria. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area but this is certainly one of thebetter ones.
Came for lunch while in town for a volleyball tournament. This is probably some of the best Mexican food I?ve had in awhile! The portion sizes are great, as well as the prices! Next time I?m in the Louisville area, I?ll definitely stop back in.
Excellent food and service. Price for portion is great. Tried a taco combo plate which was more than plenty. Each taco was filled nicely. Beans and rice accompanied the dish. Asked for grilled jalapeños and onions. A good portion came out when Iexpected much less. Did not want it to go to waste. Also asked if they had a ?hotter? salsa. Let me tell you that hot salsaneeds a little caution flag : . Area is busy and parking might be an issue at busier times. Staff is polite and ready toaccommodate some asks. An excellent Mexican food establishment.
