Tokyo Japanese - Louisville

The sushi and sashimi here are exceptional and offered at a fair price. While the restaurant is small, it provides a lovely atmosphere for a romantic dinner. They offer a wide selection of sushi, as well as soups and other dishes. I found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is very friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. With so many options, it can be tough to decide what to order. Overall, this is definitely a place worth visiting!

Absolutely fantastic! As a vegan, I decided to try the recommended Veggie Roll along with an Asparagus Roll just for fun, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Both rolls were perfectly filled and bursting with flavor. I can't believe I stumbled upon this hidden gem, which was surprisingly close by. To make up for lost time, I'm already planning my return visit; the menu has several vegan and vegetarian options I want to try. Cheers to the owner and the wonderful staff!

Tokyo is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Their sushi options are amazing and have giant pieces of fish. If you?re a non-sushi person, I?d definitely recommend the bibimbap-delicious. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Their chef, Victor, always makes my daughter her own special sushi when she comes!

Came in and sat down right away after being greeted. Our server Milton was incredibly nice and brought our drinks shortly after we asked. The appetizer Edamame grilled in soy sauce with garlic WAS AWESOME!! Had not seen that dish anywhere before. The chicken yakisobe was fantastic as well.. It was so good I forget to even get a picture! We also have the Sunset, and the Playboy rolls which were fresh and delicious!

I think this is the is the BEST sushi in Louisville. Tokyo is locally owned and operated. I have pictures from years of going there. The food is fresh and the guys are great. Roberto and Victor work the sushi bar, which is where we always sit. My daughter loves to watch them make the rolls and they?re always so friendly. We love it here, you have to try the garlic edamame!!
