My mother and I came here to get dinner before our flight and when we went to order our food we were informed that they were only serving chicken tenders and fries. I assumed they were just out of beef or had some issue with the fridge or something out of their control, but then heard them tell another customer that they cleaned their grill early and didn’t want to get it dirty again. We were there 30 minutes before they closed. They sent a whole crowd of people away who would have loved to have a burger. Unfortunately they don’t have to improve because they have different customers every day at the airport.
I fly out of Louisville quite frequently and have never had a worse experience, period. Was on my way out of town and I stopped for a quick breakfast sandwich. There were around 7 people in line, one person behind the register, one person cooking, and 3 people just standing around either talking or playing with their phones. After 10 minutes of the cashier just standing there and looking at the people in line I asked what the issue was….she said that the kitchen was behind and they were waiting for them to catch up….there were two people waiting for their order….myself and five or six other people got frustrated and walked away….I tried one or two times after with similar experience and now I don’t even bother. Whoever owns this location needs to pay attention….their horrible staff is chasing business away daily…..Terminal A is a little bit of a walk but in the end it will save you time and frustration!
Instead of rising to the challenge when they were busy and short-staffed (one manager and her employee), the two on duty completely gave up. The manager left several times during dinner rush so that her employee had to both take orders and make them, and upon return, there was no sense of urgency or customer service. The counter was absolutely filthy, and I would have left if I had time to wait somewhere else. I waited a full hour for chicken tenders and fries and nearly missed my flight.
If you love your food sitting in the window because the person taking the order is chillin on their phone and the order not being correct, then boy do I have the place for you. And that food is probably cold and the grease that should be in the burger now rests peacefully in the air pockets of the bun.
