Julias - Loulé

We recently visited Julia’s for lunch and what an awful experience we had! We have been visiting Julia’s multiple times a year, for a very long time, bringing friends family, some of whom are very influential people in the Algarve UK. We had an incredibly rude waiter serve us (unsure of his name but had tattoos covering his left arm). He could not have been any more unfriendly or ill mannered with us if he tried. He had a serious attitude problem. It is usually a lovely experience with good food, friendly staff good atmosphere but with this visit the food was average, and this man ruined the entire afternoon for us. We will never be back in Julia’s and we will most definitely be discouraging other friends family from visiting this establishment.

We have been here many times over the years for lunch and dinner. Location is lovely. Food is average. Staff have been friendly. The last three occasions (3 for 3) we were overcharged on the bill. Additional drinks added. Additional meals etc. Each time the bill was quickly fixed without any issue. Once is a mistake. Three out of three is a worrying trend….. Make sure you check your bill!

I have been coming here for years, but sadly the food and service is very below par now. Waited 90 mins for starters and 2 of the 5 mains were luke warm .

I was often with julia, but this time was the best. the personal was very helpful I had a cod that was made beautiful, and beautiful apple crumbs and ice my man had sole that he really enjoyed it helped the weather was beautiful

Planned as “wonderful” by friends, we were so on lunch here. sure the location is great, but so is izzys next door where we ate the previous week. the service speed was terrifying. about an hour to get the first cure, and even twenty minutes to get a drink. Eating was ok, but in an opposite place where there were so many really good restaurants, it was nothing special. not good enough, Julia’s; call can be lost very quickly!
