Cafe Saint Honore - Lourdes

The place looked really nice, so we divorced to stop for coffee before leaving, but the waitress was so rude and disrespectfu I had to pay and leave could not even wait to finish. some should not work on costume service

We stopped in for a quick lunch and got nice salads and wine just what we wanted! There's nothing fancy or outstanding, but it was a good basic salad with meat toppings available. The server was pleasant and dealt with tourists well.

Stopped for coffee and drinks on route back to hotel,ordered 3 Hollandse coffees and 2 stella lagers, pleasant staff who made us welcome.

Decent quiche and ham and cheese crossiant but nothing to rave over. Ok service. Just ok food and service.

I ordered the Chevre Salad. The waiter/owner? dropped part of the oily salad including 1 of my 4 cheeses on my lap. My trousers were ruined. He picked it up off the floor -took it away and he didn't replace the cheese! To be honest the cheese was the only decent part of the meal. I asked for a price reduction - no response - so I asked louder - he reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately I only had a 50 Euro note - so he gave me the change without honouring the reduction (so much for Saint Honore). When I asked him about it he acted the Innocent (Pope Innocent?). I made a point of complaining loudly to the other staff and explained what happened - but hey - we are all passing trade so why should they care. As God lives next door - I hope he gets his just desserts - I didn't stay for dessert - as I might have had to change my shirt too! Please avoid this café and the f.....g Nazi who runs it - for your own good!
