A perfectly friendly and affordable cafe/bar. Good beer. We got 3 drinks for €8.50. The guy is friendly and the locals play a game in the street outside sometimes which is fun to watch. They serve snacks too. The locals eat lunch there which is always a sign that the food is good.
When in France do as the French do is my motto, and one of those joys is to have a café au lait in a typical French café. This is one such establishment that kicks the likes of Starbucks and Costa right out of touch. Sat here on a sunny market day, listening to the locals, just watching the world drift by what is there not to like? helpful, cheerful waiter with an attitude that I have yet to see equalled in England. Why oh why are we leaving the EU?
